Do I need an account?

No. Everything musical works as a guest. An account exists so Pro progress syncs across devices and so a share link can carry your setup.

What stays free?

The whole instrument: fretboard, chords, arpeggios, the loop, the Daily, the reference pages. Pro never takes a tool away.

How do I cancel?

From the App Store or Google Play subscription page, or from your account on the web. Access runs to the end of the period you paid for.

Is there a one-time option?
