GTS has no ears. It cannot hear your student play, correct a wrist, pick a song or notice they’re bored. You do all of that. GTS carries what you assigned into the rest of their week and shows you whether they did it.

What it is not
- Not a teacher. GTS sets up tools and keeps score on quizzes; it has no opinion about what your student should learn next. You do.
- Not a listener. There is no audio analysis and no “played it right” score. The dashboard reports time, tempo and quiz answers, nothing invented.
- Not a messaging app. Students see your assignments and notes; you see their practice and a one-tap Easy / Okay / Hard. No chat, no personal data beyond a display name.

Yes. Teacher Pro is free while you have active students. Teachers are partners, not customers.
Is it free for my students?
Yes. Every assignment works on a free account, so you can tell a student “download GTS, it’s free” and mean it. GTS Pro stays optional for them.
What can I see about a student?
Practice minutes, top tempo, quiz results by question type, streaks, assignment completion, and their Easy / Okay / Hard reflections. Never their questions to Ask, their email, or anything outside practice.
Does it grade their playing?
No. GTS has no audio analysis. It reports what the tools can honestly measure — time, tempo and quiz answers — and leaves the listening to you.
I run a music store with several instructors. Does that work?
Yes. A store enrolls as a studio with one poster and QR for the lesson room; each instructor keeps their own students underneath it. Apply above and mention the store.
Why not just text students a link?
You can, today: every GTS tool has Copy link, and the link opens the exact setup. What early access adds is the other direction — knowing whether they practiced, and the assignments, poster and recap that make it a system rather than a text.
Why build guitar teaching software at all?
Because the tools guitar teachers use between lessons are still paper, screenshots and memory. A guitar lesson practice app that opens in the state you set, with guitar theory tools for teachers on top of the same engine students already use, is the missing piece — and it should be free for the people who teach.
